AMS has been awarded the John Day Generator Water Cooling System Rehab project with USACE, Portland District in Oregon. AMS will work within each of the sixteen generator units at the John Day Dam to provide improvements to the water cooling system. Activities include the demolition and replacement of existing vent header piping, installation of new modulating control valves and actuators, installation of new instrumentation, including flowmeters, temperature sensors, humidity sensors, pressure sensors, and associated conduits and conductors.
